I have a new T-CROSS SEL DSG, and am finding that the stop start system on the automatic can be quite dangerous in certain situations. I know it can be turned off each time the car is used, does anybody know a way to permanently disable it without resorting to recoding?
Dangerous how?

Re: POLL: Dsg or manual

This is my first automatic car and I’m a complete convert! So easy when I’m inevitably stuck on the M6 or somewhere

Re: 4 week old VW T Cross diesel.

My previous Golf diesel did the exact same thing. Fan used to go for ages but otherwise no problems with it.

First spot of a T-Cross

I’ve finally seen another T-Cross on the road today! One of the turquoise ones, and it was very nice to see it being driven - I could admire it from afar.

Re: Faraday bags - warning.

It’s a T cross, not a highly desirable car for the scum thieves that inhabit this island. They want S3s, Golf Rs etc... I think you need a bit of perspective if you believe a faraday pouch is necessary. Nope. Round by me (‘nice’ area of Birmingham) they’ll steal anything - fiestas, Fiat 500s. Plus ...

Re: Steering wheel lock

Kristyw - have you actually tried this on your steering wheel yet as I read somewhere it was not suitable for smaller steering wheels. Yes, but I have the SE if we’re saying the steering wheels are different sizes? It’s not tight on the wheel but I didn’t want anything that damaged it anyway. I’ll ...

Re: Steering wheel lock

I got this one. Scores really high in any lists and is less cumbersome than the disclock one.

Re: Fumes

Thanks for the reply. My T-cross is a petrol though so am assuming its other cars’ fumes coming through. I’ll have to take it in if it carries on. Feel like I’m getting poisoned

Fumes

I’ve had my T-Cross for a couple of weeks now and generally love it. But I do find it’s letting in a lot more diesel fumes when I’m in traffic than my old Golf did. Am I the only one? I know they’ve skimped on a fair few things in the car so would that be the filter too??
