Re: lumbar support

I think this has been covered before but my only complaint about the T Cross is the uncomfortable seat which put pressure under my thighs making driving very uncomfortable after 10 minutes or so. I tried the seat in various positions to no avail so landed up trying out several seat cushions to raise...

Re: Thoughts on the T-Cross?

Last September I was poised to buy a Suzuki Vitara SZ5 but there was a halt in production for some reason. It had everything I wanted on it including 4 wheel drive and I test drove a used model with 18k miles on the clock. I had been reading all about the T Cross and had a chance to drive an ex demo...

AIR CON

Not fully T CROSS related but perhaps valid nevertheless. I found this question/answer in Honest John column this morning interesting, QUESTION: Can a car sitting around stationary cause the air con to break? ANSWER: Most air conditioning problems in cars are caused by lack of use, usually because t...

Re: Battery Charger

Which model did you get greycross - the MX5 or the CT5? Also, did you charge it without removing the battery?

Re: Battery Charger

Am back on this subject again. Think I will definitely need to invest in a battery charger for my T Cross R Line as my mileage is negligible. Am I correct in saying that I cannot use my VERY old trickle charger used for lead acid battery on these new start stop batteries? The top charger appear to b...

Re: Probably overkill.....

If your fuel tank is less than full, condensation forms on tank walls subsequently mixing with petrol. Wynns seemingly resolves this problem. As my car has been standing idle for weeks now and likely to continue for sometime, I thought it a good cheap solution.

Probably overkill.....

....but I have bought Wynn's 325ml Dry Fuel to prevent condensation build up in fuel tank which is two thirds full . Giving the car a good shampoo as covered with reddish dust from the Sahara! Can anyone recommend a good Tyre shine product which lasts? R line DSG 115 in Makena Turquoise Electric mir...

Battery Charger

Has anyone invested in a Battery Charger yet? I do mainly short journeys so thought it might be a wise precaution in this cold weather although I have only had the car for about 5 months. Honest John recommends the CTEK MXS 5.0 Fully Automatic Battery Charger which at around £66 is a bit pricey. Has...
