Re: Cruise control failing in heavy rain - common?

Thanks all. Suspected as much. I missed the bit on use in rain from manual. Glad it's unlikely an actual fault on my vehicle.

Cruise control failing in heavy rain - common?

Today in extremely heavy rain in M11 I had cruise control on to keep good gap from vehicle ahead I suddenly noticed that the image of a car wasn't showing on the acc screen, and my vehicle wasn't slowing, despite my closing in on car ahead. Split second later I got a message 'front assist not availa...

Re: Reverse brake assist + suspension heights

I'll check it out. It's in for service today. They say there's no-issue with sensor or clearances. I shall be there with a tape measure tomorrow on collection to double check it's resolved I saw a suggestion it could be the fuel tank is not central so one side carries more load. Re: Reverse brake assist + suspension heights

The brake is coming in when I'm reversing into clear road. That's why I suspected a fault.

I'll get the suspension heights checked out
Thanks

Anyway, watch out that doors and boot closed properly with keyless system. Last week I noticed the mirrors folded but alarm didn't ...

what goes in the boot lid recesses?

Dealer told me the gaps inside the boot lid between the boot internal grips are for first aid kit. But I can't find one that looks right fit to go in it. So what is the gap for?

Reverse brake assist + suspension heights

Emergency brake regularly triggered as I reverse slightly down hill off driveway. Always triggered by sensor on left rear corner - none of the other sensors picking up anything. I just noticed the gap between tyre and wheel arch on rear right wheel is much bigger than on rear left. So in effect the ...
