Re: Folding Passenger seat

Drive mode select is a £140 optional extra on all models. Unless you are in Australia, we don't get that at all as an option. We do get a folding and sliding rear seat, and the wireless phone charger as standard though. However we don't get rear air vents, just a little pokey hole where the rear air...

Re: We connect

Man... why do you guys get all the good toys! Australian T-Crosses (T-Crossi?) don't get access to these features at all, no app connections that I know of here.

Re: Some technical questions

Now from what I understand, when the car has the beats option, the boot floor can't be lowered because of the subwoofer (and amplifier?). Correct. And it cannot be easily removed from what I can see. Whilst you cannot lower the floor because of it, there is still a lot of space under the floor, las...

Re: Locking car

Thanks Tricky and MPRTroc

Awww damn... now I am going to have to go and spend who knows how long out in my garage locking and unlocking the car "experimenting".

I can hear my significant other muttering about my behaviour already... :)

Re: Locking car

Are you sure? I know that with mine if I lock the car via the remote and then walk around to the boot I can open the boot but the rest of the car stays locked (mirrors folded etc). But, if I lock the car via the remote and then move the remote 10+ metres away and then come back and try to open the b...

Re: What are sport comfort seats?

From what I remember when I was looking the sports seats are a little more "bucket" type seats, with more of a raised part along the edges.

We have them in our T-Cross and recently drove down south in them, 3 hours down, 3 hours back and they were exceedingly comfortable.

Re: FIRST SERVICE

Note VW now have electronic service records, no physics, book. So having it done elsewhere you'd have an incomplete service record when coming to sell it. That's interesting. Here in Australia it is law that a vehicle's log book service can be performed by ANY mechanic and it will not in any way af...

Re: New T-Cross owner : advices needed

Your comment about changing the ACC behaviour when the car ahead isn't detected is interesting : I don't remember having seen such option in the car settings, but I'll look carefuly. Couple of things with the ACC I have noticed: The distance the ACC maintains is speed related, when set to its close...

Re: 10mph door locking help

Apparently it is not possible to stop the car doors locking at 10 mph and my wife is one near miss away from a "locked in" panic attack. Given that you know that the doors are be opened from the inside even when they are auto locked (or at least I hope you know this), I presume the issue is that yo...
