Re: Creaking, squeaking and cracking noise

Hi Bean I am becoming less happy with my T-Cross as time goes by. I have the dashboard squeak - very annoying on any uneven roads. I find the Lane keep Assist quite intrusive. During my last two trips in the car I got the audible warning/screen prompt on a total of three occasions to ‘Take over the ...

Re: Owner Manual in English to download

VW are really mean and unhelpful about pdf manuals. Seat and ŠKODA have pdf manuals for all their cars available on their websites. For example I am interested in the new Seat Mii electric so thought I would see if the manual is available. Sure enough it is there and it was great to read about the c...

Re: Rear Drum brakes on SEL ?

The SEL is available with the 95PS version of the 1 litre engine. Therefore that is probably what you saw at your local dealership. You need to have the 115PS version to ensure you get discs front and rear.

Re: Car Net in SEL model

Nugget and greycross, I agree with you that lane assist is a bit obtrusive. Have you tried it with just the ‘vibration’ switched off? (Vibration can be switched off permanently). I persevere with lane assist as it is meant to be a good safety feature but my wife has to have it switched off when driv...

Re: I still haven’t found what I’m looking for !

I met a fellow T-Cross owner (White SE) at the local skip. We swapped thoughts on the car and he said the lane assist was bothering him. I showed him how to switch off the steering wheel vibration permanently and the lane assist itself. Lane assist is the one thing that slightly bothers me - in fact...

Re: USB CABLE

As greycross says the data plug is useful to a point but I have stopped using it as if seemed to be draining my phone battery too much.

Re: USB CABLE

My SEL was supplied with a good quality USB cable for my iPhone. My dealer asked me which phone I had and it was in the car at handover.

Re: Mileage display on dash

Hi jdb
Could you post a picture of your analogue display so we can get an idea of what the issue is?
Hopefully then someone can help.

Re: One Month in..

Hi Greycross. I agree with most of your observations. Everyone on here seemed very happy with their new cars! I would disagree with 13 on your list mind you. I find the split level quite useful! I didn’t fancy the keyless option due to security concerns but wouldn’t have expected the stop-start issu...
