Re: Mileage display on dash

Hi jdb
Could you post a picture of your analogue display so we can get an idea of what the issue is?
Hopefully then someone can help.

Re: One Month in..

Hi Greycross. I agree with most of your observations. Everyone on here seemed very happy with their new cars! I would disagree with 13 on your list mind you. I find the split level quite useful! I didn’t fancy the keyless option due to security concerns but wouldn’t have expected the stop-start issu...

Re: Tech info for gearheads

Very impressive Gavin! I was relieved to see that your neat calculations more or less confirm my direct observations. The longer I own this car the more impressed I am. It is the perfect size for my wife and myself. It has just enough oomph if you floor the throttle to get you past. The gearbox/engi...

Re: Tech info for gearheads

Hi gavinvanpopering and welcome! I am really glad you asked that because I have been meaning to post this info because it is very interesting. Amazingly the gearbox ratios are very evenly spaced for the 6 speed manual on the T-Cross. At 2000rpm in 1st gear the speed is 10mph, in 2nd gear speed is 20...

Re: Active Cylinder Technology (ACT)

Hi YO62TCross and welcome. I also had a TDi 150 PS manual car, a Golf in fact. The only thing I miss from the Golf is the surge of power available when you put your foot down! I am very happy with my T-Cross. I find the 115 PS manual very refined and economical and overall I don’t regret moving from...

Re: Cruise control (not ACC)

Halin9 - not sure classic cruise control is a feature of the SEL spec. ACC is standard from the SE up and costs £505 to specify on the S. I checked the spec sheet for the S model but classis cruise control is not included - looks like ACC is the only option for the T-Cross.

Re: About to order.

Yes, Peterg the SEL is the best option in the range. The increase in cost for the R-line is not justifiable in my view. My order to delivery was exactly 12 weeks. I have done nearly 2000 miles and simply love the car. It has such compact dimensions outside but is so spacious inside. Fuel economy is ...

Re: DataPlug for 115/DSG

I got a data plug supplied with my 115PS manual T-Cross. It is a neat bit of kit and integrates well with the app on my phone.
I doubt the DSG should make a difference to how it operates.

Re: How is the T-Cross Air Con coping with this hot spell ?

I agree - the main thing is how quickly the cool air comes through. I think it is slightly better than the Golf I had before the T-Cross. I find that the car does everything well! It is a great all-rounder.

Re: Another New Member

Another welcome from me! I had a 2014 Yeti 110 Bhp diesel before my recently traded in Golf diesel. I now have a 115 PS T-Cross manual SEL. It has a similar footprint to the Yeti - actually slightly smaller all round, but has more space inside somehow. The boot in particular is much more useful. I r...
