Re: Infotainment screen off for night driving

This is only helpful for those of us with the active info display, but I put the sat nav onto the active info display, between the two dials,
(It goes dark automatically).
I then select the sat nav again, which brings up a black screen with limited info in white wrIting which is less distracting.

Re: Yet another soon to be owner

Welcome, I’m sure that you will be pleased with your choice, which is almost identical to mine. Apart from a couple of rattles (it’s booked in to get the boot area sorted again) it’s superb. I envy you the 1.5 engine, which has only recently become available. The earlier problems with it seem to hav...

Re: Stop Start system

I am really pleased with the fuel economy, and that is with always turning the start/stop OFF. Given the amount of fuel I would save it isn’t worth me using it, I can understand the reluctance to use it on entering a busy roundabout. I am seldom in stop start traffic, so I am not being too environme...

Re: Reversing camera seems to have slipped...

Yes, seems normal, mine is the same as Tricky2 describes, there is no washer jet to clean it. I was expecting the guide lines to curve with the steering wheel to indicate the proposed direction of travel It’s a bit like swinging a wheelbarrow around and pushing it into a gap, but that’s fine. Had I ...

Re: Creaking, squeaking and cracking noise

Mine was done under warranty, and wouldn’t of minded them dismantling everything. As I understand it they only had to unclip the A pillar, add insulation, and clip it back on. It’s a closer fit now, and I have not heard a sound since. (see above). Looking at the similar thread to this ‘’noises, crea...

Re: Squeaks coming from boot area

Hi Greycross Just to clarify, I had 2 problems, the boot area, and the creaking/ticking from the passenger side dash, (as do many others). This thread refers to the boot area, so I tried to stick to that. I referred to the dash as it was on the paperwork, so others could show there dealer how mine w...

Re: Squeaks coming from boot area

Still not right, Returned my car to the dealer mainly due to a rattle in the boot, which is still not fully resolved. (I did ask them to check if the boot locking mechanism had come loose). They insulated the back panel trim according to the paperwork. I phoned them today and they were pretty good, ...

Re: Noises, creacking and cracking from the passenger side

SOLVED! Returned my car to the dealer mainly due to a rattle in the boot, which is still not fully resolved. (I did ask them to check if the boot locking mechanism had come loose). BUT they did take out my ugly packing from around the 'A' frame They repositioned it, and added insulation. It is now a...

Re: Folding mirrors on T-Cross?

That’s the ones, not really essential, but was expecting them to be there.
