Re: Fixed cost maintenance

Yes, it is detailed in the VW Fixed-cost maintenance Driver’s guide, the dealer pointed me at it when I sorted out my maintenance package ? As I am on a 10,000 mile package, I agreed with my dealer that I would be on a fixed service and get one every year. I believe my car has been set as such, I wi...

Re: Turn off lane assist

Anyone elses keep turning itself back on? Yep, mine does every time too.. I think it is classed as a safety feature, so the car insists on switching it back on. I always disable mine on every journey as it is horrible, I hate it, feels a bit like a flat tyre at times !! I think you can probably use...

Re: 3x issues dealer return tomorow

Just noticed someones tried to put the key in the steering column plastic. Thanks for the scratches. Push start lol. I had exactly the same, and mentioned it when I collected. All they would do was wipe some gel stuff in and buff it up !! I reckon it must be delivery drivers or something, easy to d...

What do you put on the External Plastics

Just interested to find out what you guy's put on the external Plastics around the Arches and bottom of the Doors ? I think the R-Line has colour matched bits, so only really interested in the more standard black plastic bits on the other trims levels. Mine tend to suffer with water marks quite badl...

Re: Anyone got a SEL with a factory Option Spare Wheel ?

I ordered an optional spare wheel, but apparently it gets shipped separately to the car! Picked my new car up on Thursday but the spare wheel may take another 10 days. I would be really interested in the size of the tyre that you get !! You will almost certainly get a 16" steel wheel which is fine,...

What do you use for Navigation ?

I was just wondering what T-Cross owners used as their preferred navigation system ? 1) On-board VW SatNav (SEL and R-Line I believe). 2) Google Maps via Car-Net ‘App-Connect’ 3) Waze via Car-Net ‘App-Connect’ 4) Standalone TomTom or similar I tend to have the On-board VW SatNav selected when not us...

Re: Anyone got a SEL with a factory Option Spare Wheel ?

But compared to the standard 205/55 17" fitted to the SEL the spare is 3.9% smaller rolling circumference. Yes, I appreciate that, that is the reason for my original post.. SEL Spare Wheel Size Comparison.jpg I was wondering if it is close enough, or has there been a mistake with my factory fitted ...
