Hi All
I haven't posted for a long time. My T-Cross 1.0 United is now 2 years old and all is going well with it (other than the ongoing issues of the Front Assist sensor randomly generating an error whilst driving, which seems to be due to the sensor in the grille getting obscured, but I don't think this is the reason behind the post).
I've tried looking in the config setting in the head unit for a way of adjusting the sensitivity of the lights coming on/going off when in "Auto" mode but not getting anywhere. I park the car in an underground car park where I live and the lights come on every time I start the car as the car park is pretty dark which is fine, however when I drive out onto the road, even on a relatively bright day the lights can stay on (usually they go off but not always). Equally when out and about, I can start up the car on what appears to be a bright morning or afternoon and the lights come on when there is no need.
I'm assuming there must be a setting to adjust the sensitivity of the photocell which decides whether to switch the lights on ? I'm vaguely wondering if it is the same sensor which controls the Front Assist sensors and whether the lights coming on/staying on in brightish conditions is another facet of the Front Assist impairment messages and if this means there is a more fundamental issue with this sensor ? I'm assuming they are two different types of sensor so am probably making a connection which isn't there
Can anyone point me to a way of controlling the sensitivity of the Auto lights function ?
Cheers
Neil
