Hi all - my T-Cross is Urano Grey which I like very much. However, I had the car polished before delivery and find that there is a pale residue on the plastic door bottoms and wheel arches. Any bright ideas as to how to remove this residue and keep these areas looking like the rest of the bodywork?

Ive done this, lesson learned to keep polish a little a further away lol

I cleaned it off with autoglym tar/glue remover and a toothbrush . Any clear window cleaner and a good rub with a micro fibre cloth will also work. I found the polish sticks to the trim a bit to well lol

I've heard rubbing it with WD40 would work, maybe try on a small area.

I took advice of others on this forum and use CarPro Perl, it is amazing stuff !!

I have treated all my external plastics with diluted CarPro Perl and they all now look lovely and black.

Like the others, I would recommend it.
