Can anyone tell me what type of oil to use to top up the engine on a T-Cross 1.5 TSI? (5W30, 0W30...)

Any feedback re oil consumption ? to be honest I am now at 1600km and did not bother to check the oil. The dealer just recommended that I have the first service (oil change) at 8000km or 1 year

Hi, My T Cross had it's first service after one year and 15,000kms. The vehicle used negligible oil over a a mixture of suburban and inter city trips of 200km each, plus one road trip of 1,00kms. The dealership reported no issues, I don't know of any, and the car is performing better each day. Cheers-John
