i hope the info in the link is current, it's dated July 2018.
It also mentions the choice of a 150ps (1.5 ) engine which isn't happening yet. Probably not a bad thing given the problems that are being reported on the T Roc.
Regarding the Drive Mode Select, I have it as standard on my Q2 with a DSG gearbox, and to be honest never use it. In sports mode it does make the steering heavier, and hold the gears longer, but does not change the suspension. A similar action can be obtained by just pulling back on the gear lever whilst in drive. This was the same on my Polo SEL.
I just leave it in comfort mode, but then I am an old man.
