Hi all, I am a soon to be (as in in 2 days) owner of a T-Cross from Perth, WA here.

Rather long time lurker while I was trying to come to a decision, so a belated thanks to everyone who has posted here, its all helped!

In 2 days I will be the pleased owner of an Energetic Orange T-Cross Style (with the sound and vision options - digital display basically). Should be a bit of a change from my current 2006 Toyota Corolla wagon...

I just need to find a local source for rook racks and towbars, which is proving difficult. As the T-Cross is so new here (it was only officially released in March 2020) none of the usual suppliers have even heard of it, let alone have any options for it.

Welcome, I'm still waiting for mine due to delays at the docks etc. Love the orange. I'm getting limestone grey which is fine as love greys and that's what was already in the UK

Cheers!

The grey one here looked nice, but we both wanted a bit more colour so it came down to the Teal or the Orange, the only other options in Aus where various shades between black and white and a "Dark Petrol" which was just a dark bluey grey. Teal looked ok in person, but the orange won.

My wife then promptly named it Harvey. We have a town down south called Harvey, known for its orange growing region. My daughter just as promptly said she wasn't getting in an orange car called Harvey. She is going to do a lot of walking it seems.

Pick up tomorrow.... Yay...

If it isn't, it is certainly one of the very few. I haven't seen any on the roads around here yet.

And now I am the proud owner of a Energetic Orange T-Cross Style.

Picked up 3 hours ago from the dealer. I've just blocked a week out in my calendar to read through the Manual... all 321 pages of it... :-/

The 1ltr 3 cylinder DSG engine/transmission. It is the only one offered here in Australia. They just announced that they are cancelling the 4 cylinder version that was planned for Oz later this year.

That's what we've got and I'm amazed at the performance matched to the economy. 1 litres 'when I were a lad' were gutless and thirsty, how times have changed.

I have had t my cross now for a couple of months now and I am more than happy with it and love driving it I also haven't seen any others on the road. I also wasn't too worried about a 1 litre car. I had a little black one called Cooper back in the sixties and that used to get across the countryside quite O.K

We are taking it for a longer drive this weekend (4 hour round trip) and an even longer one next weekend (school holidays! yay) to give it a really good run, but it's performance so far as been more then acceptable.

I totally love driving it.

What was the fuel consumption like?

Not bad.
Reasonable close to quoted, and if you make heavy use of the Adaptive cruise control is gets even better.

That said, I've only really left it in D mode rather then S and Stop/Start is enabled, so I would expect it to be good
