Hi
Just joined the forum ,got a 1.0 115 SEL in Energetic orange due in a few weeks. So far so good.
Noticed some new T Cross deliveries parked outside the local dealers the other day ,one in white was marked up as an SEL, certainly looked like one , correct alloys and trim as far as I could tell etc. Thing is the car had had Drum brakes on the rear , big finned things in black. Don't think you can get the SEL in the 1.0 95 engine?
Not against Drums per sec but on a £22K car will be gutted if VW have changed the specification for the 2020 model year to save money ,I would certainly have considered alloys that made the rear drums less obvious had I known , the 16 inch more closed alloys on the S model spring to mind.
The configurator still says Disk/Disk but the latest brochure doesn't mention specifically which is a worry.
Can anyone who has recently received a Se or an SEL in October confirm or deny this ?
