I am looking for a route through the bulkhead to the battery, passenger side, for a thin cable, does anyone know the whereabouts of any grommets that are already present that can be utilized easily? Trying to avoid taking too much apart if I don't need to

What is it you are doing?
Cant you just use the fuse box for a 12v supply?

I need the battery not the fuse box - it isn't for a 12v supply, it's for a battery temp sensor.

Up behind the glove box there is a route via the bonnet release cable, managed to squeeze through using the same grommet. It will only take a small cable. You need to lift the end of the scuttle to get your hand to the engine bay side, Under dash is relatively easy.

Quite easy on the T-cross and VW in general. Feeding the cable of my Ctek Comfort connector through the bulkhead of my RS was a pita.

Not on the T6 - you have to remove the glove box, battery and other pieces to get to the bulkhead.
