I have just purchased my t.cross but struggled to close the boot. My hubby used an old bag strap and fastened it inside the boot. Thank you so much to the person who suggested this. They used a yellow dog lead.

There is a grab spot on each side of the inner hatch just like in the Golfs which you can pull down the boot.

Yes but if you are 5 feet 5 inches or less in height and a female who doesn’t have man muscles, then actually it’s a bit of an issue as I discovered when testing that in a dealers today.

As suggested by Barls and Tricky above, quite a number of owners have this problem and several solutions have been made.. Search on here for boot opening/ closing..
