Dealer told me the gaps inside the boot lid between the boot internal grips are for first aid kit. But I can't find one that looks right fit to go in it. So what is the gap for?

I believe it's for the warning triangle required in certain markets.

It's definitely for a warning triangle kit....VW do one about £40 but I used one that I already had and it fits fine..very useful to have it there, don't know why it's not supplied as standard.

Hi. Just bought a T Cross. Hopefully a good move.
Yep, the triangle issue, where to buy one and the part number?
They must use them in Germany as it's law. VW garage cannot find the number.
I have 3 triangles from previous cars and travel kits but none of these fit.
Anyone resolved the part number thing yet please.

I bought mine on ebay a couple of months ago, £1.49 and £3.40 postage. It's lightweight but fills the slot perfectly for a tidy look.

There is definitely a VW one that fits..maybe under T-roc....your Dealer is obviously not very good.!
