Rear camera

Post by Tcrosssouthpark » Thu Nov 28, 2019 12:23 pm

Just collected my Urano Grey 115 SE. Super drive and impressively quiet. Has anyone any experience of having a rear view camera fitted please?

There has been a previous discussion on retro fitting a rear view camera. Have a look under "general discussion" or faults and technical..

Haven’t been able to find anything about retro- fit rear cameras. Any news please?

I've recently got one fitted by my local VW dealer. Thought it was a bit on the expensive side £475 fitted and from what I've seen of non VW installations, it's not a great camera - ie the lines don't move plus there aren't different views. It's pretty much just a camera.

My dealer is fitting mine for £415 all in, still expensive for a low line camera but worth having.
