Hi all. First post. Almost convinced to buy a T Cross but issue of no spare. Sales person at dealership went to ask the service dept and they said you can't put a spare of any size in boot as "it would stand up above boot floor and be illegal as you wouldn't be able to secure it so you'd void your insurance!" Sales manager then came along and said you can fit a spare in no problem. Who's right? This is almost a deal breaker with me purchasing or not.

Greetings All.
The T Cross boot takes a full size spare wheel.I have done it. I've now sold the car and upgraded so I have for sale a brand new full size wheel and tyre for sale.It's a non VW wheel but has the exact dimensions as a VW one,i.e. the PCD and ET number.It's for sale at £160,free postage.
